Well, here's an announcement I've been planning for quite some time:
There's a lot going on right now in the world of Mimi's Doughnuts. Shayna's a senior in high school and she doesn't know what she's doing afterwards... plus it's an election year, plus there are all these kittens and global warming and new friends all mixed up together. It's too much to keep up with in a mere weekly format!
SO... I've decided that I'm going to suspend the progress of time in the strip. That means the next year (strip-time) will take about two years to tell. Shayna can enjoy the coming political year (including turning 18 in time for the 2008 elections!), and then we'll take a year to focus on her senior year in high school, and her college search... or lack thereof.
If this blog is acting or looking kind of screwy, it's because I'm republishing it to my own domain name. Stand by...
