24 Hour Comic?

Well, okay... so after a few busy weeks of workshops, SPX, more workshops, and some major family stuff going down, I found myself going to bed early on 24 Hour Comics Day and getting a darn good night's sleep. Denise was out of town (at the Keene Pumpkin Festival!), Mei-Mei wasn't snoring (for once), and I slept right through to daybreak...

Then I got up and made a Mimi's Doughnuts calendar. It's for 2008 (of course). It features lots of strips from the first year of MD, on topics like the elections of 2004, flowers, bugs, and lots of other stuff. It was hard to pick just one strip for each month, but it was really fun going back and reading all those old strips!

I'm happy with it. It might not be an authentic 24 Hour Comic, but oh well. It'll make a shnazzy gift for my Mimi's Doughnuts Zine subscribers...
